So it’s here – Quad-Core Xeon Mac Pro. And Apple says “8-core”.
Wondering its performance with Adobe CS3 and other Apple apps like iTunes ripping CDs or QuickTime exporting MP4.
However it’s ultra expensive and I don’t think I’m getting quad-core machine til the price goes much lower (-50%).

Just happen to clicked on a Apple Store link while reading an iPhone article on Bare Feats and Apple Store is showing “We’ll be back soon”.
So is there a surprise product coming out from Apple or just some pure maintenance of their online store!? Stay tune……

There is NO new products. Just pure maintenance I guess. Where is the new MacBook Pro that I’ve been waiting for….

I particularly want to get more information in the application area since Apple said that there is no third party developers. It would be a waste for the cool input interface if there is actually no real applications to run on the iPhone itself. If that is the case, there isn’t much point for people to switch to a new people.
But hey, people do buy themselves a new phone whenever a new model comes out, don’t they?
In less than 4 hours, Steve Jobs will address the keynote of MacWorld Expo San Francisco 2007. Among all the products mentioned in rumour sites, I want most the ultra thin MacBook Pro. For the iPhone, I don’t think it would be of much use less it can perform some other functions.
Maybe reviving the Newton MessagePad with an iPod and Mickey Mouse and bomb! You got a Disney MessagePod with all the Disney cartoons?!
Let’s see if the network functions well tonight to watch the keynote. It’s such a bummer for the major slow down these days.

We Mac head always wanted to truly portable Mac. Now there’s one (and only one at the moment).

If you happen to be relying on OS 9 only apps for your daily work, here’s some good news. There may be some sort of solution to run Mac OS 9 on Intel Mac, here and here. However there’s really no way to ensure whether your app will run in such environment. Maybe you should ask your friends with Intel Mac to try it out first before you order your brand new Intel Mac. At least there’s some sort of solution out there for you.
Now there are more upgrade path to the Intel Mac Mini other speed boost using Core Duo coz someone has successfully upgraded with Intel Core 2 Duo!! Check it out
However it still can’t beat the dual G5 2.5GHz in Photoshop 7 test yet. At least until some time in 2007 when Adobe releases the next update to their Creative Suite. Until then I’ll hang on with my trusty old Mac.
Apple today releases the MacBook without “Pro” finally. It comes in black or white. Very nice. Great match for the iPod nano and 5G iPod.
Now where the replacement for the “old” PowerMac G5, huh?
It’s been a long time since my last online appearance. I finally redesigned my site and with the amazing blosxom.
My next goal is to refine my AppleScript application “MidiConverter 2.0” which will incorporate 3GP export option. There’s some issue for different CPU that I need to work it out.
Another new is about FlashLite enabled mobile phone is finally here. The Sony Ericsson W800 is first on the market with FlashLite installed as standard world wide. I’m expecting to have some FlashLite stuff coming. But that really depends on my day job.
