The last restaurant of their kind

Went to 中央飯店 (Central Restaurant) that I haven’t been to for more than 10 years tonight. The dishes and even the price feel like the old days. Delicious big dishes of the good old Cantonese cuisine at a very very affordable price.

You can see their old school restaurant logo featuring one of their signature dish – 鹽焗雞 (roasted chicken with salt).

The dish is 糯米鴨 (deep fired duck with sticky rice stuffing). This is an old style cuisine that requires pre-ordering.

Hokkaido Pudding

Saw these nice Hokkaido puddings in supermarket and couldn’t resist to buy them home. One is cheese. The other is caramel. Very tasty. There goes all my swimming today LOL

Welcome Autumn

The weather is getting cooler this week after Mid-Autumn Festival. The number of moon cakes in the fridge outnumber everything else LOL

My first iPhone app is under review

I’ve submitted my first iPhone app, ezFengShui, to Apple for review. Hopefully if all goes well, it will appear in the iTunes App Store next week or so. Finger crossed.

ezFengShui will show you the good and bad spots of your home and office base on the 8 House Feng Shui theory.

You can read more about this app in my iPhone App Station blog.

Digital black hole

Haven’t written much lately due to high volume of work flooding in. All my energy is sucked into the digital black hole. This is gonna continue for some more time. Anyhow this is the first post since I got my iPhone 3GS and this very post is posted from iPhone. The only thing to complain about is the battery. It won’t last 1 full day when I am sending a bunch of locations and doing Twitter, IM, web browsing, email and etc intensively. iPhone is not that bad as a 3G phone but it’s certainly not for every Joe who needs to run around without a wall socket nearby.

H1N1 is in Hong Kong now!!!

The first H1N1 case is found in Hong Kong. I certainly hope no more. But somehow my gut feeling tells me there will be. I just don’t want the SARS epidemics relive ever again.
