Ex-Governor of Hong Kong

My wife and I was browsing in the Book Fair last Saturday and suddenly we heard some noise from our back. There we saw a whole bunch of flashing light and Sir Chris Patten, the last governor of Hong Kong before the handover in 1997, was surrounded by reporters, Book Fair visitors, and of course his body guards.

This is definitely not the picture of the year. Anyway, I only managed to shoot from his side with my phone.

Delicious lemon pie

My wife & I had a strewberry lemon pie lately and it’s so yummy! For a mere HK$16, it’s the best thing you can get! It’s far more delicious than Starbucks or Pacific Coffee’ tart or pie at reasonable price.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand

Watched X3 last night and I am disappointed. The CG is beautifully done but the story totally sucks.

There’s no more in-depth character development or any inner self revealing.

Although, there’s some unexpected scenes but the whole screen play is too thin. It’s just lack of substances!

My last comment about X3 is … get Bryan Singer back!

Next movie should be Pixar’s Cars in July. Then probably Superman Returns directed by Bryan Singer. Then maybe Ghost Rider starring my favorite actor Nicolas Cage.

Water Park in the aquarium

When you are stuck in an aquarium, what would you do to spend your time each day?

Obviously, the Apple snails in my aquarium has their own sports in actions to kill time. Cool, huh?

Scary Public Transport

There are always people complaining how packed and crowded the public transport in Hong Kong. Well, tell me what you think after you watched this video.

This is yet another outrageous video about a middle age totally stressed man swearing at another younger male passenger in a bus in Hong Kong (the dialogue is in Cantonese).

Hmmmm, are you scared of public transport now? What would you do when this happens to you?

Hokkadio, Japan

My wife and I went to Hokkadio, Japan and we enjoyed a relax and refreshing honey moon trip. We took many photos for the 5 days in Japan. Check it out in my photos.

The food is delicious. The place is great. People are nice enough even though we don’t speak the same language.

CNY yet to come

According to Lunar calendar, the Year of Dog is yet to come. The day of 立春 is 4th February, 2006 which is the real day 1 of Year of Dog.

Happy New Year to you all anyway.

2006 / Year of Dog Resolution

After 2006 juts came, another Lunar New Year is also coming. I wish I could do much more in my life in the coming year.

A little check list of mine:

  1. Get married
  2. Visit Disneyland
  3. Do more great (art)work – see
  4. Get happier and healthier
  5. Spend more time with my family

The list can of course goes on and on. So I only list out the few things that I can think of at this moment.

My birthday gift

My beloved girl friend bought me an iPod video for my birthday. It’s just wonderful. And the engraved text….ahhh…lovely!

Thanks my dear!!!

iPod video 1
iPod video 2
iPod video 3

I’ve transferred half of my CDs to my new and first iPod. Now I’m getting my DVDs to it.

You’ll need some tools for that. Follow the settings found here with Handbrake. Enjoy!
